Revocation Ruling Relating to Certain Mass Flow Controllers

REVOCATION OF CLASSIFICATION RULING RELATING TO CERTAIN MASS FLOW CONTROLLERS
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is revoking a ruling letter (NY R01762, dated 4/26/05) relating to the tariff classification of certain mass flow controllers.  CBP is also revoking any treatment previously accorded by it to substantially identical transactions. 
 
The classification is being changed from 8481.80.9015 (regulator valves, self-operating, for controlling variables such as temperature, pressure, flow and liquid level) to 9032.89.6060 (automatic regulating or controlling instruments and apparatus).  This action is effective for merchandise entered on or after June 7, 2010.
