Ocean Carriers Stop Providing Chassis in U.S.

More and more ocean carriers are announcing they will no longer be providing chassis to port truckers in order to remove inefficiencies reduce environmental impact and improve supply chain.  CMA CGM, NYK, COSCO and OOCL are among carriers that are phasing out this service to truckers at terminals throughout the U.S.

F. H. Kaysing will be attending a meeting in Kansas City on September 21st hosted by SmartPort regarding this issue.   As more information becomes available we will forward it via our Trade Alert system.
