Export Controls & Regulations Conference St. Louis, MO April 8-9
In the event that Export Controls is of interest to you or someone within your company, we would like to share details on an upcoming conference taking place in St. Louis being presented by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). BIS presents 12-20 similar conferences across the country each year, but it’s been a long time since they’ve been in St. Louis. Since we’re not too far away perhaps the location would be convenient for you to attend.
For the first time in nearly 15 years, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security will be presenting export compliance programs in St. Louis, MO. Register for either program, or both programs taking place April 8-9, 2015 to help reinforce your export compliance expertise and process.
April 8, 2015 – Essentials of Export Controls
April 9, 2015 – How to Develop an Export Management & Compliance Program
- Fines and penalties associated with violations can be significant.
- The best defense against inadvertently violating export regulations is an Export Compliance and Management Program
The Essentials of Export Controls program is only one of two scheduled to be presented by the Bureau of Industry & Security (the agency that writes and enforces export controls) this year. If these events are not for you, please keep in mind new employees involved in export logistics and/or sales.
